Temporary Imports Program for the Production of Export Goods (PITEX)

With the purpose of supporting the Mexican firms' effort of reaching the international markets offering quality, service and competitive prices in a global context, the Federal Government implemented the Temporary Imports Program for the Production of Export Goods, which offers support in order to promote the growth of the national industry, the training and development of technology, employment creation and to incentive foreign and national investment.

In this context, the Mexican government support to these firms consists on offering incentives that allow them to import temporarily from any part of the world and without the payment of taxes or duties, imposed to the aggregate value and, in their case, quotas as correspond, the commodities, machinery and team with the necessary characteristics for the production of their products of export, permitting thus the increase and strengthening of the exporting activity, which is one of the motors of the national economy.

Thanks to the deregulation and administrative decentralization, at present we provide harmonious services to the need and demands that the firms that act in the international trade require.

Likewise, utilizing like tool the Integral System of Outer Trade (SICEX) the opinion of the procedures to national level is dependable and agile.
